Learning Model Gawi Sabumi Based on Local Wisdom to Improve Student’s High Order Thinking Skills and Multiple Intelligence on Elementary School

The purpose of this study is to produce a new learning model and find out the effectiveness GAWI SABUMI improve critical thinking, creative problem-solving, analytical logical thinking (high order skills) multiple intelligences elementary school students in South Borneo. This used type research development consisted three phases on dependent variable through quasi-experimental research. data were analyzed using sequential analysis determine feasibility model. sample was 40 Sungai Miai 7 Elementary School Banjarmasin. result quality evaluation blended at high level (X= 4.57) (SD = 0.17). characteristics Gawi Sabumi included ten stages: Group, Analysis, Work together, Inform, Solve problem outdoor, Actualization solution, Battle games, Unity role play, Manage conclusion Invent creation. Students had post-test skills average scores higher than pre-test 3.59) .78) who have highly skilled criteria linguistic, musical, mathematic, visual-spatial, kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, naturalist, existentialist intelligence 3.55) .88). It means that meets being valid, reliable, feasible be implemented potential students' intelligences.
